Where Everyone SHINES!

About Us

Meet the Administration

  • As a Sumter County Schools graduate, I am excited to serve Webster Elementary as Principal. I have been an educator since 2008. I spent the first 11 years of my career teaching in Pasco County, FL. I have taught both primary and intermediate grade levels as well as served as a teacher leader in various capacities. The 2019-2020 school year brought me to Sumter County Schools as a Literacy Coach at Wildwood Elementary. I have been at Webster Elementary serving as Assistant Principal and the Principal.

I love living, working, and raising my family in Sumter County.

I graduated from Florida Southern College with my Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies. In 2017, I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University.

I am truly blessed to serve the wonderful staff, students, and families at Webster Elementary ‘Where Everyone Shines’!

  • I’m excited to serve the students and families of Webster Elementary School this school year. I have been in education since 2006. I taught 8th-grade science at South Sumter Middle School for 15 years and spent one year as their assistant principal. This will be my 18th year in education.

I graduated from the University of Florida with my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education in 2006. I then went on to St. Leo University to earn a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

I’m committed to excellence in education. It is a blessing and privilege to serve the students, staff, and families at Webster Elementary School “Where Everyone Shines”.

  • I have served Sumter County Schools as an educator for the last 10 years, and am excited to join the Webster Elementary Family. Over my time within Sumter I have taught from VPK up to 5th grade, specializing in math and science. I am looking forward to my 11th year in education and assuming this new position of Assistant Principal Intern.

I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2018. I then furthered my education with the University of West Florida and received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2023.

It is an honor and blessing to serve the students, staff, families and community of Webster Elementary School where “We All Work Together To Shine.”

  • As a proud native of Sumter County, I began my educational journey at Bushnell Elementary School, South Sumter Middle School, and South Sumter High School. During my time at South Sumter High, I was actively involved in athletics and dreamed of one day returning to my alma mater as a teacher and coach. Although my path initially led me elsewhere, that dream never faded.

I began my professional career at the Sumter County Clerk’s Office, where I worked for 15 years while earning my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. However, driven by the belief that education has the power to positively transform lives, I made the life-changing decision to obtain my teaching certification.

I began teaching 8th Grade English Language Arts at South Sumter Middle School in 2017. After three years, I transitioned to South Sumter High School, where I taught 9th Grade English, AP Seminar, and AP Lang. During that time, I also coached girls' sports and pursued my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Upon completion, I was honored to serve as their assistant principal for 2 years.

My journey in education has been guided by a deep commitment to empowering students both inside and outside the classroom, supporting educators, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking each student’s potential. In my role as an Assistant Principal Intern at Webster Elementary School, I remain dedicated to advancing student achievement, cultivating a strong school culture, and working collaboratively with staff and families. It is my mission to help ensure that Webster Elementary School continues to be a place where every student is educated, supported, and inspired to reach their academic, personal, and career goals.
